trigger window position without using titlebar icon

It would be helpful to have a way to position a window without using the title bar icon. Maybe a keyboard shortcut or hold modifier key(s) while dragging window.

The title bar icons are nice, but do not display correctly on my multi-monitor setup and are hard to see on windows that turn the title bar black.
